Ahoy! Hold on to your hats, because this tour is the fastest way to see San Diego from the bay. As you check in at the marina, your guide will size you up to your life preserver and show you the route of the tour on the map. You will then walk down to where the tiny speed demons are docked to learn how to operate your very own boat.
The boats are very easy to navigate and only need a few minutes of instruction to be able to charge through the water, but precautions must be taken into account since the boats can reach up to 30 mph. Each boat is equipped with its own 2-way radio so that each person on the tour can communicate with each other. Your guide will be dictating suggestions in navigation, and point out landmarks and interesting sights as you leave the marina.
Once out of the marina, you are free to charge at full-throttle. Feel the wind in your face, and the power of the boat as you swiftly pass by sail boats, happy dolphins, and sea lions.
Follow your guide to the bait shop, navy submarines, aircraft carriers, historic ships of the Maritime Museum, Sea Port Village, and under the Coronado Bridge. You will not want to miss this once of a kind experience!
