Well, it’s your chance to get on the So Diego bandwagon and show your group what it takes to be an effective and fun tour guide.
So Diego Tours’ product development team has created a fun way for you to explore the historic heart of San Diego AND 3 of the 100+ restaurants in the Gaslamp Quarter WITHOUT an actual tour guide. YOU become the guide, and based on the materials provided to you by our staff, you will have clues as to where to go, what to say, and what you’re tasting at each restaurant. Take photos, score some points, and let’s see which team takes the grand prize home at the end of the tour.
This team building activity will have you speaking aloud in front of your peers, guiding your team from stop to stop, singing songs, taking silly pictures, and eating and drinking at some of our favorite local restaurants.

What to expect:
One of our friendly representatives will give you the address and time to meet at the first restaurant where you will be greeted by your So Diego tour guide. He/She will hand an envelope to two random “team leaders”. The envelopes will have instructions on what to do thereafter, and then you’re off to experience a really fun night with your group!
Your So Diego guide will pop in and out at the different restaurants to make sure that everything runs smoothly, etc. At each restaurant, you will be served 2-3 delicious samples of their specialty dishes along with a choice of drink (wine, beer, or specialty cocktail). For those of you with dietary restrictions, just let us know what you cannot eat, and we’ll do our best to accommodate to your needs!
