A prime spot for wine lovers with a view! They offer a great happy hour Monday – Friday from 3:30 – 6:30 pm and feature $3 off wines by the glass and $2 off draft beers. Their wine bar is hidden away at the back of the shop but features a terrific patio with ocean views! They have a great small bites menu that includes assorted flatbreads, salads, dips and more.
This farm-to-table restaurant features happy hour specials daily from 3:00 – 6:00 pm. Come from work, the beach or one of many San Diego adventures and unwind with specially priced happy hour menu that includes appetizers, salads, wines, beers, and cocktails. The restaurant features open-air windows and a small outdoor patio. Servers are attentive, and the decor is simple and inviting. On Monday – Thursday, they have $1 oysters and $5 glasses of bubbly in the bar!
Their happy hour fondly referred to as “oyster hour,” is available daily from 4:00 – 6:00 pm (all night on Mondays) in their bar and lounge. They have chef’s choice Fresh Shucked Oysters for $1 each and a variety of other appetizers. Their specialty cocktails are only $8, and they have a selection of house -infused spirits, beer, wine and well pours for $5-$8. On Fridays and Saturdays, they have live music playing in their bar lounge areas that features couches and comfortable seating!
This casually elegant restaurant with indoor seating or sidewalk tables on Prospect Street offers a unique seasonal style of California cuisine dictated by the local harvest. Happy hour is offered Monday – Friday from 3:30 – 6:30 pm and features a ½ priced bar food menu, $5 glasses of red and white wine and $2 off all beers. We recommend the Harissa Grilled Shrimp Toast with avocado and the Lamb Meatballs; both are reasons we’d return again.

Offering happy hour Monday – Friday from 3:00 – 5:00 pm, this casual spot features $4 tacos and $9 Puesto Perfect Margaritas. They are known for their fish tacos and local favorites include the Maine Lobster, Chicken Al Pastor and the Zucchini and Cactus options. They have an indoor/outdoor bar and lounge and are a great spot for families with kids.
Located in the iconic La Valencia Hotel right by La Jolla Cove, this street-side café offers a “libation hour” daily from 3:00 – 6:00 pm. Specials include bar bites for $5-$10 (our favorites are the La Rue Sliders and Deviled Eggs) and $5 bubbles, white and red wine, draft beer and well drinks. They also have live entertainment Monday – Thursday and weekly specials like Baja Tuesdays ($3 tacos, $10 margaritas and $5 coronas) or Prime Rib Thursdays ($19 prime rib dinner and $10 martinis).
They offer an “Aloha Hour” from 3:00 – 6:00 pm Monday – Friday in their Barefoot Bar that has expansive ocean views. Specialties include $2 off all Pupus (appetizers), $4 off Duke’s Favorite Cocktails, $5 beers and $7 glasses of wine. On Fridays, in addition to their Aloha Hour, they offer live music and $8 Mai Tai’s all night in the bar.
Offering happy hour Monday – Friday from 3:30 – 6:30 pm, this completely remodeled venue offers floor-to-ceiling windows with views out to the ocean. Their menu includes $8 specialty cocktails, $4 beers and $7 white and red wine selections. If you’re a night owl, on Friday and Saturday they also offer a late-night happy hour from 9:00 pm – Midnight.
